Appearances[]

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian[]

Al Capone and his fellow gangsters come out of a display case at the museum and used the elevator to get down to the basement where they along with Ivan and Napoleon join forces with Kahmunrah. and try to capture Larry and the tablet. In return, he and his men would get a share of the world. Capone likes to gamble with his fellow Gangsters. He, Ivan and Napoleon are Kahmunrah's right hand men. It is unknown what happened to Capone after his small fight with Napoleon and his fellow gangsters after the battle. Whether he and his fellow gangsters returned to their respective display cases is uncertain. They were not seen, heard from or mentioned again.

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (Video Game)[]

DS Port[]

In the DS version of the game, Al Capone is one of the 5 boss battles you do throughout the game, being the 3rd one you do. His boss battle appears in the third museum, the China Museum, which we see him when the screen slides over to him. He is seen in a box of explosives, having 3 cannons underneath as he tries to shoot fireworks at Larry. As Larry tries to climb vines, Al Capone shoots at him, trying to stop Larry from getting to a switch that causes him a bomb to do a mini explosion overtop of Al.

After Larry does this three times, switching from side to side to get rid of the top bombs, Al Capone has no more explosives and can’t shoot at Larry, leading a cutscene to start where Larry and Amelia confront Al Capone. As they confront him, Al says he’ll get them back but Larry asks Amelia if they are done there, leading Amelia to say that this is over and going to the next Museum.

Wii/PC/Xbox 360[]

In this version of the game, Al Capone is first seen next to Ivan the Terrible and Napoleon, who are all behind Kamunrah. As Kahmunrah breaks the tablet, Al is given 3 ingots from it, which he is supposed to hide away from prying eyes.

When Larry is in the National Museum of Natural History, Al Capone's boss battle starts after Larry tames Ally the Dinosaur, using the dinosaur to attack Al Capone and his men by swinging it's tail. After being hit 6 times, the battle ends, leading to a cutscene between Jedediah and Kahmunrah.

Historical[]

Capone started his criminal career in the Five Points Gang. Later on, most likely during the early 1920s, he got accepted to Johnny Torrio's Chicago Outfit. Quickly rising through the ranks, Capone became Johnny's right-hand-man. Johnny declared Capone as the new Chicago Outfit leader in late 1925 after being seriously injured in an attempted assassination. On Saturday, January 24, 1925, a rival gang opened fire on Johnny but survived he the assassination attempt and lucked out when the assassin ran out of bullets. But Johnny's recovery was slow, and he was temporarily imprisoned during this time.

Capone and his criminal organization rose to power during the Prohibition Era in the U.S. His main crimes were murder and bootlegging, which Capone made a fortune from. He had a criminal empire with operations in many states. Capone dealt with anyone that was a threat to him, including rival gang members or any of his men that were suspected of disloyalty. Anyone even rumored a threat was to be murdered. A notable example was the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre. Capone is accountable for about five hundred murders in Chicago. Also, he paid off police officers and judges, corrupted lawyers, and threatened jury members.

Capone had a series and his own personal assassins and gunmen.

Capone's criminal gangster career ended in 1931, when he was indicted and convicted by the federal government. He was sent to a series of prisons including Alcatraz, which was the longest and most famous of his sentences.
